I’m constantly fascinated by very old turn of the century advertisements, especially for products that make unsubstantiated health claims. Now that unscientific quackery is making a substantive comeback, I’ve been thinking of getting in on the game myself. Let me know if you’d be interested in a bottle of the finest elixir that money can buy at a price you can afford!
Notably I misspelled Liniment, but fortunately I didn’t have to go back and redraw any letters since I already had a lowercase “i”.
This was an incredibly fun project. I’m considering making a poster of it complete with the “and other fine quackery” part, but I wanted to post the logo first. I’m especially pleased with how the “Liniment” lettering turned out and I may turn it into a display typeface later.
